Tina Moisidis is a bilingual Speech Pathologist, who studied Master of Speech and Language Pathology and is Hanen Certified. Tina is a certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia whose areas of interest is in children with developmental delays.
Tina is experienced in assessment and intervention for children of all ages. She believes that every child deserves to be heard and understands that every child is unique with different strengths and interests. She has worked in the Private and Not for Profit organisation for over 16 years. Tina works with children who have a developmental delay or no formal diagnosis. Tina is also experienced in supporting children with specific diagnoses including Learning Difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and Genetic disorders.
Tina continues to seek professional development to provide evidence-based therapy. She has trained in the Hanen Courses; It takes two to talk and More Than Words, Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding approach, Key Word Sign training, PODD training, LAMP training and Sounds Write training.
Tina has a special interest in supporting children to connect and develop relationships with their parents, carers and peers.
Vicky is a certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia. Vicky graduated with her Master of Speech Pathology and a Bachelor of Arts (Linguistics and Applied Linguistics) from the University of Melbourne.
Vicky is passionate about helping children with additional needs reach their full potential through implementing a strengths-based therapy approach. She enjoys developing positive relationships with families and using a child’s interests to make therapy fun and interactive.
Vicky is committed to life-long learning and is continuing to maximise her skills in all areas of Speech Pathology by engaging in professional development opportunities and maintaining current evidence-based practice.
As Vicky is proficient in English and Greek, she particularly enjoys working with families from culturally diverse backgrounds. She values having the ability to collaborate with other allied health professionals, as this enables her to provide holistic care to families and expand her skills as a therapist.
Vicky hopes to continue to make a positive change to the lives of her clients believes that working together with parents and teachers is essential to expand the child’s communication, language and social skills beyond the therapy environment.
Melanie graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Health Science (Speech Pathology). Since this time she has mostly been working with children with additional needs across various settings including Community Health, Not-For-Profit Organisations and Private Practice.
Melanie is trained in Hanen It Takes Two To Talk and More Than Words, the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding approach, SENSE-ational Mealtimes, LAMP, PODD and Key Word Sign.
Melanie has special interests in working with non-speaking children, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), early language and feeding skills.
Melanie is passionate about working collaboratively with the people in a child’s life to help them reach their goals.
Hsiu-Wen is a Speech Pathologist who has been working with neurodivergent individuals and their families.
She is passionate about advocacy and making communication accessible.
Hsiu-Wen speaks English and Mandarin.
She enjoys working with families with culturally or linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Hsiu-Wen is trained in the LAMP approach, AAC for Gestalt Language Processors, PODD Introductory, the Get Permission approach to Feeding, Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding approach, Key Word Signs and Hanen More Than Words.
Hsiu-Wen is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and continues to seek professional development to provide evidence-based and strength-based therapy.
In her spare time, Hsiu-Wen enjoys bushwalking and travelling.
Elisa is a certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia. Elisa graduated with her Masters of Speech Pathology from the University of Sydney.
Before pursuing a career in speech pathology, Elisa previously worked as an Early Childhood Teacher for over six years. This previous role ignited her interest in learning how to effectively support children with communication difficulties. Elisa believes in the importance developing strong, supportive relationships with children and their families, and collaborating with other professionals such as teachers to provide holistic care.
Elisa is a firm believer in the importance of play in providing rich opportunities for language development in children. She endeavours to cater to the strengths and interests of each child within her sessions, to make them enjoyable and meaningful to the child and to maximise opportunities for learning.
Elisa is passionate about lifelong learning and is dedicated to engaging in ongoing professional development. She has a special interest in the areas of early intervention and neurodiversity.
Sarah is a certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia. Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from the University of Sydney.
Sarah is dedicated to life-long learning by engaging in professional development to expand on her skills in a range of different areas.
Sarah has completed professional development workshops including Sounds-Write literacy training, Sensory for the SLP, AAC Evidence-based Practice and Neurodiversity Affirming Communication for the Autistic Community.
Sarah has worked with children presenting with language disorders, speech disorders, literacy difficulties, ASD, ADHD, intellectual disability, Apraxia of Speech and AAC.
Sarah has a special interest in literacy, early-language, and autism.
Sarah understands the importance of building positive relationships with her clients to encourage productive and successful therapy outcomes. She has gained experience working with children in a range of different environments including childcares and schools.
Sarah prioritises holistic care for clients by maintaining communication with all professionals involved including occupational therapists, teachers and paediatricians.
John is the Practice Manager at Connect & Communicate Speech Pathology Services and brings a background in Accounting to his role.
Fluent in both Greek and English, he oversees the Speech Pathology team, manages appointments, and coordinates events in our therapy rooms.
John takes pleasure in establishing connections with parents/caregivers and children, serving as the welcoming voice and initial contact for inquiries about our services via calls or emails.
