Tina Moisidis is a bilingual Speech Pathologist, who studied Master of Speech and Language Pathology and is Hanen Certified. Tina is a certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia whose areas of interest is in children with developmental delays.


Tina is experienced in assessment and intervention for children of all ages. She believes that every child deserves to be heard and understands that every child is unique with different strengths and interests. She has worked in the Private and Not for Profit organisation for over 16 years. Tina works with children who have a developmental delay or no formal diagnosis. Tina is also experienced in supporting children with specific diagnoses including Learning Difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and Genetic disorders.


Tina continues to seek professional development to provide evidence-based therapy. She has trained in the Hanen Courses; It takes two to talk and More Than Words, Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding approach, Key Word Sign training, PODD training, LAMP training and Sounds Write training.


Tina has a special interest in supporting children to connect and develop relationships with their parents, carers and peers.

VICKY KOMNINOS

Vicky is a certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia. Vicky graduated with her Master of Speech Pathology and a Bachelor of Arts (Linguistics and Applied Linguistics) from the University of Melbourne.


Vicky is passionate about helping children with additional needs reach their full potential through implementing a strengths-based therapy approach. She enjoys developing positive relationships with families and using a child’s interests to make therapy fun and interactive.


Vicky is committed to life-long learning and is continuing to maximise her skills in all areas of Speech Pathology by engaging in professional development opportunities and maintaining current evidence-based practice.


As Vicky is proficient in English and Greek, she particularly enjoys working with families from culturally diverse backgrounds. She values having the ability to collaborate with other allied health professionals, as this enables her to provide holistic care to families and expand her skills as a therapist.

Vicky hopes to continue to make a positive change to the lives of her clients believes that working together with parents and teachers is essential to expand the child’s communication, language and social skills beyond the therapy environment.

Melanie graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Health Science (Speech Pathology).

 

Since this time she has mostly been working with children with additional needs across various settings including Community Health, Not-For-Profit Organisations and Private Practice. 

 

Melanie is trained in Hanen It Takes Two To Talk and More Than Words, the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding approach, SENSE-ational Mealtimes, LAMP, PODD and Key Word Sign. 


Melanie has special interests in working with non-speaking children, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), early language and feeding skills. 


Melanie is passionate about working collaboratively with the people in a child’s life to help them reach their goals.

Hsiu-Wen is a Speech Pathologist who has been working with neurodivergent individuals and their families. 


She is passionate about advocacy and making communication accessible.


Hsiu-Wen speaks English and Mandarin. 


She enjoys working with families with culturally or linguistically diverse backgrounds.


Hsiu-Wen is trained in the LAMP approach, AAC for Gestalt Language Processors, PODD Introductory, the Get Permission approach to Feeding, Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding approach, Key Word Signs and Hanen More Than Words.


Hsiu-Wen is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and continues to seek professional development to provide evidence-based and strength-based therapy.


In her spare time, Hsiu-Wen enjoys bushwalking and travelling.

Elisa is a certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia. Elisa graduated with her Masters of Speech Pathology from the University of Sydney.


Before pursuing a career in speech pathology, Elisa previously worked as an Early Childhood Teacher for over six years. This previous role ignited her interest in learning how to effectively support children with communication difficulties. Elisa believes in the importance developing strong, supportive relationships with children and their families, and collaborating with other professionals such as teachers to provide holistic care. 


Elisa is a firm believer in the importance of play in providing rich opportunities for language development in children. She endeavours to cater to the strengths and interests of each child within her sessions, to make them enjoyable and meaningful to the child and to maximise opportunities for learning. 


She has a special interest in the areas of early intervention and neurodiversity.


Elisa is passionate about lifelong learning and is dedicated to engaging in ongoing professional development.

Sally is a warm, patient, and genuine speech pathologist who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology.


She has worked with families with diverse communication needs in various settings, including clinics, schools, hospitals, and rehabilitation centres.


Sally is trilingual and speaks English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. 


She especially enjoys supporting and partnering with families from different cultural backgrounds to achieve their therapy goals and improve their day-to-day participation through family-centred practice. She is also flexible and aims to implement meaningful sessions while growing alongside her clients. 


Sally strongly believes in lifelong learning and seeks opportunities to enhance her skills.


Sally likes having desserts, watching movies and dancing for leisure.

    Isabella is a certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia, holding a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Sydney. 


As an empathetic and warm speech pathologist, she is a strong advocate for neurodiversity-affirming practices. Isabella has worked with individuals and families across a variety of settings, including hospitals, private practices, schools, and homes, supporting a diverse range of communication needs. 


She takes a collaborative approach in developing meaningful therapy goals with families and is committed to continuous professional growth through lifelong learning and development. She has completed training in DIR Floortime 101, Meaningful Speech (supporting gestalt language processors), the SPELD NSW Systematic Synthetic Phonics Program, and more. She has a special interest in supporting Neurodiverse clients with complex communication needs, including those who use Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC), gestalt language processors, and individuals who stutter.


Before pursuing a career in speech pathology, Isabella worked in a sleep and respiratory clinic, where she supported children with breathing and sleep difficulties. 


Outside of her professional life, Isabella enjoys reading, going to the cinema, and swimming at the beach.

    Safa is an empathetic Speech Pathologist who is dedicated to empowering clients and their families. 


She has experience working with clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Safa is passionate about trauma-informed care, neurodiversity-affirming practice, and early intervention. Her clinical interest areas include language, executive functioning, childhood apraxia of speech, sensory processing, and responsive feeding. 


Safa is certified in programs such as It Takes Two to Talk and More Than Words by The Hanen Centre. She has also undertaken training in Responsive Feeding Therapy, DIR 101: Introduction to DIR Floortime, Language Acquisition Through Motor Planning (LAMP), Sounds-Write, The Lidcombe Program, trauma-informed care and in assessing and treating motor speech disorders such as childhood apraxia of speech (CAS). 


Safa has experience delivering services in a wide range of settings including schools, childcare centres, community health and hospitals. She has supported parents, clients, and caregivers, and has collaborated with multidisciplinary team members to provide holistic care. 

She has also supported clients in rural New South Wales and provided services via telehealth to clients across Australia.

Amanda is a certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia whose area of interest is literacy.

Amanda graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from the University of Sydney.


Amanda speaks English and intermediate Cantonese.


Prior to pursuing a career in speech pathology, Amanda has worked as a private tutor for over four years. She has tutored children with disabilities, including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and developmental language disorder. This previous role fuelled her passion for empowering children and helping them reach their full potential.


Amanda is a vibrant and optimistic speech pathologist who values building positive relationships with her clients and their families.


Amanda has experience working with children from a variety of different social, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds, including vulnerable children.


In her free time, Amanda enjoys painting and travelling.

Demi is a Speech Pathology student at Australian Catholic University with a passion for helping people communicate with confidence. 


She strives to make every child feel included and valued, ensuring they know they are not defined by their disorder or language challenges.


Demi believes that therapy should be fun and engaging, so she is always bring creativity and energy to her sessions to keep the children motivated and excited.


Beyond Demi's studies, she has a strong interest for sport and staying active.

Demetri is a Bachelor of Speech Pathology student at the University of Sydney who is passionate about supporting children to build confidence and develop their speech and language abilities.


Demetri believes therapy should be individualised to each child’s own experiences, shaping intervention and goals around their unique cases. He loves working with children from any diagnosis as he continues to improve his clinical experience.
 

Outside of the clinic and university, Demetri loves to play soccer and go to the beach.

Victoria is a Speech Pathology student from the University of Sydney, who has a strong passion for supporting all children to have a voice and to communicate. 


Victoria values creating a safe environment, where every child and family feels heard, respected and empowered to reach their goals. 


Outside of the clinic and her studies, Victoria enjoys crocheting and staying active.

John is the Practice Manager at Connect & Communicate Speech Pathology Services and brings a background in Accounting to his role. 


Fluent in both Greek and English, he oversees the Speech Pathology team, manages appointments, and coordinates events in our therapy rooms. 


John takes pleasure in establishing connections with parents/caregivers and children, serving as the welcoming voice and initial contact for inquiries about our services via calls or emails.
